Five Days to Go: Join the Magic of West End Lights 2024!

With just five days until Lincoln West End Lights transforms our neighbourhood into a magical winter wonderland, excitement is building across our community. We’re delighted to share that we already have 31 illuminations and 2 charitable contributions confirmed (and just updated on the map1) for the evening of Friday, 6 December, from 6 pm to 9 pm – and there’s still time to join in! We’re tantalisingly close to surpassing last year’s total of 36 illuminations. Could you help us reach this milestone? Whether you’re planning an illuminated window display, a garden light sculpture, or something completely different, we’d love to add your creation to our interactive map (see below how to add yours to the map).

New for 2024: Charitable Contributions

This year, we’re not just mapping light displays – we’re also showcasing charitable initiatives across the West End. If you’re planning to offer home-baked treats, warming drinks, or handmade crafts for a good cause, we want to feature you too. All charitable contributions must be either free or support a named charity, adding an extra layer of warmth to our community celebration.

Family Fun: WEL Kids Trail

Little ones can join in the fun with our interactive Light Trail! Armed with just a smartphone, families can follow specially designed posters throughout the neighbourhood, scanning QR codes to learn fascinating facts about light while enjoying the evening’s displays.
